As a child,like most kids,Stephen dreamed of being famous.Stephen got his first break with a small part
in the film"The Commitments" beating 10,000 other young hopefuls to the part,then was catapulted into the pop world when he
secured his place in Boyzone.(with Mikey,Keith,Shane and Ronan) Stephen` solo album New Beginning is a testament
to where Stephen has come from,both personally and professionnally.It` says as mush abouth the talent that he is and the artist
he has always been.. Stephen has achieved more than most thanks to seven amazing years with one of the biggest boybands of
all time..Stephen was personified in two great houners.Firstly Stephen was named,Irish Personality Of The Year and in December
the same year Stephen was the Hero of 1999 at the smash Hits Poll Winners Party
Stephen heard abouth the auditions for Boyzone and he attended the auditions at the Ormond Centre
with 300 hother houpfuls boys.For the first two auditions everyone song Careless Whispers and Stephen sang Hello and Right
Here Waithing for the final audition. Afther a lods of hard works they five Boys had been signed to Polydor records and were
ready to released their first singel,in Ireland.(.Working my way back to you) Wher Stephen and Mikey was lead vocals
The singel was only coming outh in Ireland wher then come to nr 2 in the charts...Their nexst singel
was Love me for a reson the singel was nr 1 in Ireland and 2 in uk. In the Atum in 1997 Stephen began to working
with his own solo projects .A new Disney film "Hercules was being released and Stephen had been asked to sing the song
Shooting Star the song was released aso Boyzone double a-side with Baby Can I hold you and reatched to nr 2 in uk charts .Stephen
was also worked with Andrew Lloyd Webber by Recording the beutiful song No Matther what from Webbers new musical whistle Down
The Wind Stephen sharring the lead vocals with Ronan .And the song was released in the sunmmer of 98 and going to no
1 for 3 weekes... and the singel and its become their bigges-seller ever selling over 1 millions copies like their nexst album

in 2000 Stephen and Boyzone was sell outh 9 night Irish tour at Dublin Point Depot...And in Jauary
2000 the band was taking a break..So stephen was vorking with his solo album.Afther release of 3 solo singeles (new Beginning,I
belive and Stay) and his debut album New beginning Stephen eas taken a break from the limelight.his first solosingel
new beginning reached nr 3 in te uk charts.his secound singel to be released from his solo album was the beutiful ballade
I belive which was writting for the film Bily Elliot,and was the title track to the film.
Stephen had some healt problem during the promation and also later admitted his heart wasent really
in his worked the time. Afther 7 years in Boyzone he really just wanted to spend some times home.and in June 2001 Stephen
and polydor thwent their seperatede ways
And Stephen take a year awaay from the spotlight..and in January 2002 he and Eloy was splitting and
Stephen moved home to Ireland.
Stephen lives in London With hes partner Andrew and their dog Bentley .
